Dog in JBR

Today I was informed that one of our cleaner was bitten by a dog, so I sent the following letter to the resident

Dear JBR Resident,

It has come to our attention that you have a pet dog at your apartment, which attacked and bit one of our lady cleaners this past Saturday 16 Jan 2010, while performing the scheduled cleaning of your apartment!

We like to note that having pets in JBR apartments are prohibited and is a violation of the JBR community constitution and the Dubai Municipality regulations.

Therefore we strongly advise you to arrange the dog to be removed from JBR premises at the earliest time possible to avoid any fines which may incur. Moreover, we have advised our staff cleaners NOT to perform any scheduled cleaning if your dog is not on leash or locked away in a secure room. Lastly, we caution that similar incidents have warranted the Dubai Police to extract pets from JBR site.

If you have any questions, please refer to the attached Dubai Municipality regulation or contact Salwan management at 04-4345914

Best regards,

Ahmad Halabi
